Welcome to Bolia

We're a design company that focuses on creativity in everything we do. We custom-make every single design to fit you and your style, and we have thousands of possible combinations. We don't have huge warehouses or dusty old stock. We only have perfectly customised products, designed to match your personal preferences.

When you've placed an order

Please review your order confirmation so you're completely sure the right products have been ordered. Please also double check that we have the correct phone number, address and e-mail address for you, so that we can contact you if necessary.

Payment

Goods are prepaid at the time of ordering. You can cancel or change your order completely or partially without any conditions and costs. However, any changes to your order may result in a new delivery date/pick-up date.

Bolia price guarantee

If you've ordered a Bolia product and find an identical product at our campaign price, we'll refund the difference on a Bolia gift card.

- The price guarantee is valid for 1 month from your order date. If you want to take advantage of our price guarantee, please mail Bolia Customer Services at customerservice@bolia.com within that period, when you'll be able to purchase the item at a reduced price.

- The difference between the sales price and any campaign price will be refunded on a Bolia gift card. The gift card will be sent to you by mail after your cancellation rights have expired. The gift card is valid for 1 year.

- Please send the invoice/receipt or order number for the product in question as proof of purchase.

- We reserve the right to printing errors, price and production changes and discontinued items.

Delivery of your new furniture

Before delivery, please ensure that the goods can pass through doorways, stairs, etc. If the goods cannot come in, you can either sign for the delivery on-site or ask the shippers to return the item. This will then be considered as a missed delivery.  Please note that for safety reasons the driver must not take off the shoes during delivery. We therefore suggest you cover the floors with a dirt sheet.

There will always be 2 men when delivering orders over 30 kg. When delivering, they will carry your new furniture into the first available room in your home. Please note that in the event of a missed delivery, the driver will return the goods.

You will be contacted 4-5 days before your new furniture is delivered to arrange a delivery time. On the day of delivery, the driver will call you approx. 30 to 60 minutes before arriving at the address. Please note that we do not ship to islands without a bridge to the mainland.

Delivery of express items

When you order an express item online at Bolia.com, you will receive your dream design within a couple of days. The number of days differs from country to country, so take a look at the list below to learn when you can get your hopes up.

2-4 days: Portugal, Czech Republic, Poland

3-5 days: Italy, Luxembourg, Finland, Latvia, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia

4-6 days: Greece, Spain, Cyprus, Lithuania, Bulgaria

5-7 days: Estonia

If you combine items in your purchase and buy a vase, a pillow and a sofa, we need to divide and conquer. All bigger furniture is customised to fit your needs – and this takes time. So, your express items will be by your side within the timespan provided above, while the sofa follows its own path – and delivery time.

Receiving goods

When you receive your new furniture, it is important that you check the right products have been delivered and whether there is any visible damage to the packaging or product. If everything looks fine, you should sign for receiving the goods. If the package is damaged or shows any sign of other visible defects, please only sign the waybill for receipt, subject to any damage to the contents, or refuse to receive the item and ask the driver to return it.

Some Bolia sofas have transport protection fabric mounted at the bottom of the sofa. This material is only there to protect the sofa from dust during transportation. The thin fabric can easily tear, which does not have any significance and serves no practical function. This will not damage the sofa and is therefore not considered as a complaint.

You've got 30 days to return an item

If your Bolia furniture doesn't live up to your expectations, you can exchange or return it up to 30 days after the day you received the furniture. Before the deadline, you should inform us of this either by phone on +45 51 50 51 22 or mail to customerservice@bolia.com. We will then send you a returns form to send with the returned item to our Pick-up Point: Bolia.com, C/O STK Transport A/S, Paul Bergsoees Vej 47 – port no. 15, 2600 Glostrup Denmark. Unfortunately, it is not possible to return an item without a returns form. You are responsible for ensuring the goods arrive with us in the same condition as when you received them, and you must pay the shipping costs for the returned item.

Please note that only items in original packaging can be exchanged/returned. It is therefore a good idea to fold up the packaging neatly and keep it somewhere safe until you've finally made up your mind.

As a rule, the returned amount will be refunded to you in the same way as the item was initially paid for - we'll hurry as much as we can, but in some cases, it may take up to 14 days. Shipping costs are only returned upon return of the total order.

Returning goods

If the product is not in the same condition as it was when you received it, an amount corresponding to the decrease in the sales price will be deducted.

The deductions correspond to:

- Item ok + original packaging ok = No deduction

- Item ok + original packaging not ok = 25% deduction for deterioration

- Item not ok + original packaging ok = min. 50% deduction for deterioration

- Item not ok + original packaging not ok = min. 50% deduction for deterioration

We’ll give you a 5-year guarantee

At Bolia we know that good materials combined with genuine craftsmanship results in quality, hard-wearing furniture. Therefore, we are giving a 5-year guarantee on all designs bought after 6 August 2017. Of course, you will still get a 2.5-year guarantee on all designs bought before that.

When we do something, we don't do it by halves, so our guarantee applies to the entire collection and cover starts from the date you receive your design. The guarantee covers any functional, material or manufacturing defects on the products you buy from Bolia for private use.
Should the need arise for you to complain, please contact Customer Services on customerservice@bolia.com. In order to reduce the complaint processing time, please include your order number, pictures of any functional material or manufacturing defect, together with a brief description of the issue. Design furniture for private use

All Bolia products are designed and manufactured for private use and comply with all legislation for private consumers. The normal product guarantee is therefore not applicable for commercial use.
